Edgar Hoover believed in and embodied in his own life. Decency. Integrity. Fair play. And above all else, Justice. Standards of conduct upon which this great nation was built.

That is why we have come together in The J. Edgar Hoover Foundation – to build a fellowship based on this shared vision. And to help promote these ideals in generations to come.

It is the goal of The J. Edgar Hoover Foundation "to safeguard the heritage and freedom of the United States of America, to promote good citizenship through the appreciation of its form of government and to perpetuate the ideals and purposes to which the Honorable J. Edgar Hoover dedicated his life."

How are we accomplishing these goals? The same way Hoover built the Federal Bureau of Investigation. By believing in our nation. Having faith in the future. Working hard. And doing what we know is right.
